Make Time to Read this Fall

Make Time to Read this Fall

What happens behind the microphone changes every time I turn them on? I usually have thoughts that I want to share and express to my listeners.  Things that seem to be topical around town, in the news, and in the bookstores.  This Podcast is about reading and the wonderful insights it brings to you.   Jump in and listen as Linda encourages you with a short story of how her children became readers and maybe how you can be spurred forward to read too! When it comes to Podcasting my methods are evolving and I hope you see a positive difference.  Usually I begin with an outline sketched on paper of things I want to discuss and then go from there.   I was a big more scripted initially for fear of forgetting a fact or two, but now those details are on the outline.   I usually keep the mics on throughout the day in case I get inspired.

This week I am reading Secrets of the Millionaire Mind that I  bought at Amazon.  Unfortunately I received the book twice in Chinese.   Since I don’t read that language, I had to be patient for the correct copy.  Click at the bottom of the page and it will take you directly to Amazon if you are interested.

Is Simplicity the New Game Plan this Year?

Is Simplicity the New Game Plan this Year?

Living life well can be as easy as playing a game.  Once you have decided on a plan of action it is a big adventure.   In this podcast of Mini Miracles from Minor Moments Linda has a few thoughts on Less being better for us.  Less stress, less clutter, fewer choices might lead to a happier lifestyle for you.

Podcasting Delights

As Linda flips the page to another thought, it turns into celebrations.   We all need to celebrate.  It may be a birthday that holds special meaning, a retirement party from a long held job, or the advent of a new business?  It could be any number of achievements.

Graduations help to  create new  starting points and close the door to an old chapter.

We all look to see how the future will open the door to new things, but just take time to watch children play and try to join in.  How are you going to get the energy that they have?  Is it seeing things for the first time?  I think that is why so many of us want to travel and be adventuresome as we get older.   We want new experiences, sounds, and joyful moments.

A Prize

See what I found?

Finally, in this podcast Linda tosses out the idea of grabbing on to an encouraging WORD.   Name it and claim it as a possibility for growth and adventure!  Blossom, seize the day, and make it special to you!

Splitting and Growing to Become Better People

Splitting and Growing to Become Better People

Splitting and growing plants may sound easy, but splitting our time and energy to do many things is a bit more difficult.  The first portion of this podcast is about growth.  How do you become inspired about dealing with daily events?   Linda talks about Hosta and the need to keep splitting them.  She takes it another step for us.  How do you split your time?   Do you find yourself involved just with work, or just with family?   When and how do you grow in your relationships?   When do you thrive?

Learning to thrive under different circumstances can be hard.  We don’t always feel motivated, but we still continue to move ahead.   Give yourself credit when you do that!  Filter your thinking and clearing your mind takes time; look at the bigger picture.

How do you build others up?  How do you engage with other people?   Do you need to build better relationships?   Write letters to others, call your acquaintances, help others find their signature strengths!  It will help them and help you build integrity.

Next, Linda explains the direction of upcoming podcasts and how they will be broken down into sections so hang on for more.
