- How do you get unstuck? How do you find motivation?
- Go to resources that are factual.
- Read, listen, and keep well informed.
- Learn about the current events of 2018 in the community and world at large.
- What skill are you in need of learning? Identify them and learn them now.
- How will you learn the information you need to get up to date?
- Toss out the bad vibes and feel better about yourself.
- Exercise, move, and do your best. The best may not be perfect, but that’s okay.
- Just start doing something and don’t compare yourself to others. Rather let others set an example.
Use posted notes for encouragement. Make yourself signs with inspirational messages and put them where you can see them regularly. Join with friends in walking and getting together.
Next Linda addresses let the Fall work for you. The Fall Season blesses us with vibrant colors, lively smells, and cool night breezes for good sleeping.
So getting unstuck is simple with some the ideas listed above. The opportunities to read, play, and embrace the changes in weather lend itself to great joy.

Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Welcome to this weeks Podcast number 104 on Clarity, Vision, and Living the Dream. Well I must admit that this is podcast has a touch of everything in it. It is about learning to share how we see things and communicating with others. It is also about family commitments, and wanting the best of everything. It kicks off with our old theme song and brings a pep to your step.
We are called to have clarity throughout the day even when the unexpected happens. Linda talks about communicating with others and how they learn. Do you have family members who SEE things, HEAR things, or connect over shared memories? Keeping dreams alive even in the midst of dogs getting bit, bunny rabbits invading our yards, or dealing with teenagers is important.
Do you take things for granted until something is lost? That can be objects you enjoy that have broken or perhaps the loss of vision or hearing? Making a list of the things one is grateful for is really important. Linda talks about all the wonderful things we have to be grateful for every single day. She addresses the weather and how Hurricane Florence, and other weather events seem to be how of our control. We all can rally back though and must help one another.
Are you grateful? Keep one another in your prayers this week!

Make Time to Read this Fall

What happens behind the microphone changes every time I turn them on? I usually have thoughts that I want to share and express to my listeners. Things that seem to be topical around town, in the news, and in the bookstores. This Podcast is about reading and the wonderful insights it brings to you. Jump in and listen as Linda encourages you with a short story of how her children became readers and maybe how you can be spurred forward to read too! When it comes to Podcasting my methods are evolving and I hope you see a positive difference. Usually I begin with an outline sketched on paper of things I want to discuss and then go from there. I was a big more scripted initially for fear of forgetting a fact or two, but now those details are on the outline. I usually keep the mics on throughout the day in case I get inspired.
This week I am reading Secrets of the Millionaire Mind that I bought at Amazon. Unfortunately I received the book twice in Chinese. Since I don’t read that language, I had to be patient for the correct copy. Click at the bottom of the page and it will take you directly to Amazon if you are interested.

Is Simplicity the New Game Plan this Year?
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Living life well can be as easy as playing a game. Once you have decided on a plan of action it is a big adventure. In this podcast of Mini Miracles from Minor Moments Linda has a few thoughts on Less being better for us. Less stress, less clutter, fewer choices might lead to a happier lifestyle for you.
As Linda flips the page to another thought, it turns into celebrations. We all need to celebrate. It may be a birthday that holds special meaning, a retirement party from a long held job, or the advent of a new business? It could be any number of achievements.
We all look to see how the future will open the door to new things, but just take time to watch children play and try to join in. How are you going to get the energy that they have? Is it seeing things for the first time? I think that is why so many of us want to travel and be adventuresome as we get older. We want new experiences, sounds, and joyful moments.
Finally, in this podcast Linda tosses out the idea of grabbing on to an encouraging WORD. Name it and claim it as a possibility for growth and adventure! Blossom, seize the day, and make it special to you!
