Summertime brings so many changes. People are planning or already away on vacations, businessmen are changing their business hours to get off earlier or begin earlier, and I am adding opportunities for Art Therapy in the office. I have collected so many fun things to make with my clients. The power of good therapy and creative activities lends a bit of fun to the meetings. In June, we are meeting at 1 pm on Thursdays. You can pay and register here on the website. Hopefully, teenagers will connect and want to get friends to join them. It is relaxing and a great place to talk about anxiety and issues.
The 4-week Art Therapy units will be continuing as the year advances. Of course, regular counseling and coaching opportunities remain. I still accept BC/BS and Aetna PPO insurance, but there are many ways to pay. Talk to me about senior citizen rates, students, and particulars by calling the office. Also, I do use Zoom if you are not in the area but want to continue to get assistance or coaching.
I have also put together “shorties” of 2-4 minutes on U Tube under Delight in Living. They are fun videos meant to lighten up every day with authentic and simple ideas. It is my means of keeping in touch with those far away.
May was filled with fun events with our family. Birthdays, graduations, and updates will follow. Christian Youth Theatre continues to present great musicals. Recently, Newsies was presented at Batavia Fine Arts. The talent was incredible, fun, and uplifting to watch.
