Winding down the summer the easy way is one reason to celebrate Labor Day.  It  has always been the weekend where one tries to get in the last swim of the season, finish outdoor chores, or  have an outdoor BBQ with family. Our weather presents these opportunities for outdoor events, because it is usually sunny and nice to be out of doors.

Linda Gullo welcomes you to Mini Miracles from Minor Moments, where it is the small seemingly insignificant moments that make our life’s happy and fulfilling.  Please take the time to subscribe to our podcast and/or join us here at lindagullo.com to listen.   We want you life to be happy and hope you’ll find a good take away each week.   Just tune in.

“Our schools are just beginning and the summer is coming to completion.  So I thought I’d talk a little about EASY. Yes, I said easy!”

We want things that are easy. Just look at the latest front cover of magazines and you’ll see:

  • EASY MEALS TO COOK   (see Volume 10, Number 7 of Food Network magazine for “It’s sooooo Easy!!!”
  • EASY WAYS TO CLEAN YOUR DECK
  • EASY WAYS TO MAKE MONEY
  • THE SHORTCUTS TO CLEANING YOUR HOME
  • EASY WAYS TO STORE YOUR CAMPING GEAR.

The reality is that hard work pays off whether it is in studying, cooking, being hospitable, or making money.

Putting in the time, talent, money, and studying pays big rewards.   Now I’m not saying that we shouldn’t take short cuts, but usually those shortcuts come easily without directions once we understand and have learned the longer and more complex way of doing things.

Enjoy for weekend and take it easy!
